anyone got any tips on wet weather proofing RED...
I have a shoot coming up near a beach in the UK and it could piss it down.

here is a hi tech product specifically designed for red that will help no end.

check out www.camrade.com, they do nice raincovers. I will also be needing one soon. I can give them a call and see if they are willing to make a custom made one for the red camera.

Rory if you're shooting on or near a beach I would also seriously worry about sand. (that is if it's a sandy beach!) Make sure you tape up any possible entry points for sand this includes all the unused connector ports on the camera.
I use a kata rain jacket (see here (http://www.kata-bags.com/category.asp?id=10&perentId=1&ProdLine=1)) to protect my gear in these situations - but it also pays to have a load of large bin bags around - just cut a hole for the lens! (these also useful to keep your other bags of gear dry - equipment poncho's!!!)
