Hey guys, the sequel to the video game based movie Silent Hill , Silent Hill: Revelation 3D, is being shot on Red Epic in (ooofffff, again) 3d,i am quite tired of this 3d thing quite frankly, anyways another addition to the fast growing list of major hollywood studio movies being shot on red epic. :thumbup1:

red epic is truly a game changer,i think red will be the panavision of digital cinema cameras when we look back 40 years later

Huge fan of 3D films! Ok I might be biased, a little. ;)
Silent Hill is hybrid but all our gear. They are also one of the first features to utilize our new Meta Data systems.

I'm not too big on this, Silent hill should be shot on the grainiest super 35 one can find and then run through a bleach bypass and certainly not in 3D.
Everyone take a shot BTW he said "game changer".

I really liked the look of the first one. But i dont know if a bleach bypass is the right way to go about it. Just my opinion. I know having heaps of mos all the time would have helped give it the de-saturated look(plus post work). Not sure if the super clean image off the mx will help or hurt the 'look' but i guess they could always dirty it up in post.
Either way i have no idea about the games etc so im looking forward to seeing how they will continue the story on from the first one.
