I'm confident for a release later this year. I read today in a newspaper that stated that almost all the electronic factories are back to a normal state since mid-april in Japan.

Cool video guys, the big take away seems to be that SDD seems to be the standard (the way Ted and others talk about the SDD). Which I think is good news.

Got to hold a mock up at NAB and it felt great! A real professional motion picture camera.

Ha somebody beat me to it. Groan I've been waiting since around 2005 when i first suggested a camera like this. I wish it was at least Shd, 2007, when we first heard about it, was a long time ago.

Great stuff, I'm very excited. It's going to be the perfect camera for my media company, when clients want higher quality, higher resolution footage, I'd like to have a Scarlett instead of hiring various shooters with cameras ranging from HVX200 (of which I have 2) to 5D, 7D, various HDV formats, etc. Our delivery is generally to Web, sometimes to DVD, so these cameras mostly work fine and the quality is solid. But when doing slightly higher end work where the client is paying more, I'd really like to be able to use something like the Scarlett.
