The R3d files open and play fine but nothing happens when I "make Quicktimes". When I try to Save as - DPX or TIFF I just get the first frame.
Is anyone else experiencing this?
Does anyone have a explanation?

Check the folder where you have the original R3d files in. Thats where the quicktimes show up if you didn't set your default quicktime folder in red alert.
There is save dpx or tiff ,and there is save dpx or tiff SEQUENCE. Make sure you are hitting the right button. Ones a still ones a sequence. I would assume that if your machine is slow a dpx or tiff file sequence will take some time to finish. Be patient and keep an eye on the folder where you are sending your files to.

There's a number appears into the top right of the screen - tells you the current frame you're on, next to the stop button.

Thank you - both replies were helpful. I managed to export a tiff and dpx sequence however when I select " Make Quicktime" or any of the Quicktime options - nothing happens.

I have the same problem with quicktimes. I can make image sequences, but thats a long and unnecessary step for me. I have set the quicktime destination and even tried a couple places, but nothing is making my quicktime files.
