Hey all -

I wanted this for myself for an upcoming shoot, I didn't see an equivalent in the manual, so I made these two pages in Illustrator that show the map of where all the menus are, what the choices are there, what the unit range is, etc.

The layout here is funky, was my compromise to get legible type onto two standard size pages...and get it done tonight. I'm going to keep working and rearranging, this was a punt effort for the moment, to be refined as I go. I have the menus laid out in a strict grid as my master, but it would take a tabloid sheet to print...and that sort of defeats the purpose of a quick reference (shrinking the type to 5 pts doesn't seem a good answer either).

This is for Build 8, which I consider production reliable, I'm aware build 9 has more features, but this is what I need for now. I intend to update it for production grade/quality builds going forward and updating here.

These are 150 dpi GIF files, sized for letter sized paper. My lame-o Epson Stylus Photo 820 will print these without cropping anything if I turn on Minimize Margins in the Print dialog.

Feel free to print this out and use this, but I'd prefer if it weren't modified, repurposed, etc. Anybody can use this for their own personal use, but this will be folding into some Red training stuff I'm poking away at, so please respect that intent.

Comments, corrections, suggestions, all welcome.

PS - For one thing, listing the units used under each item would be a handy addition I realize already.

EDIT - OK, the uploaded pixel dimension limits here are hosing me, so I'm putting them up on hdforindies.com:

You're welcome guys. Redownload again, I just tweaked it in the last five minutes without modding the version #s on it.

Good work Mike. Are you interested in footnoting the monitor out combos?

Stuart mentioned the LCD/Preview combo here (http://www.reduser.net/forum/showpost.php?p=108780&postcount=2)

Red EVF/Red LCD toggle when Red EVF is set as primary

Somewhere Stuart posted on the HDMI/Preview specs

Rocketeer - ah - good idea. Technically, that'd be physical button functionality, outside of the GUI I was referring to.

Such a list of hardware shortcuts (like holding down EXIT and UNDO at the same time to eject) I think should be noted somewhere, but in a different document (or possibly another thread). Since we'll be able to user define a lot of that stuff in time anyway, that'll be a tougher one to keep up on.

Very nice. Can someone explain about the shutter "synchro" and "phase" settings? Is this only meaningful with reference to an external sync signal?

Thanks Mike, this is great!!...I have some schematics for the Red Lenses and Body I will post soon for those looking to build cases.

BTW- You might want to add the shortcut for MEDIA UNMOUNT...hold "EXIT" and "UNDO" buttons for one second.

i have been wanting to do this for the longest time, the highend DLP projector companies do these aligned vertically and they are very helpful. this is awesome.

many thanks.
