Norwegian concerts will never be the same again.

V. happy for Eirik!

The camera's already up for its' first real life job on Monday. Dependability out of the box, so to speak.

Hey! Thanks!
What a GREAT weekend, and what a magnificent piece of kick-ass machinery the Epic is! It took time but when you hold it and start using it you can definetly appreciate all that has gone into making it happen! And a lot of stuff is built into it and not enabled yet, so it will just improve and improve in the next months. As for it´s images and quality it is second to none, it seems to me like the Epic is able to draw a lot more out of the MX sensor than the R1 can (apart from the obvious higher datarates).

It was a nerve wrecking friday by the way, The Fedex site kept saying on-schedule, while it changed the position of my Epic-M back and forth between Cologne and Paris, four to five times per day, for two days! I called fedex and they said it will not go on our truck today, but it will likely come in tonight(friday), so I just said "There is NO WAY that package is spending the weekend in your warehouse!" They were cool and let me come and pick it up after hours, so I got at around 9pm, home and powered up by 10pm ;-)

I have a musicvideo shoot tomorrow, everything is prepped and I am good to go, it wil be a blast! The camera is also shooting a second musicvideo on tuesday (not by me though), so it´s a kickstart for #646!
I love this camera!!!!!

With the announced future Dragon upgrade, ordering an Epic is probably the smartest thing you can do! I shouldn´t really say that, because the fewer Epics out there the more gigs for me ;-)

(No nickname yet, Michael, I have to start thinking.)

Congratulations. That Epic looks smaller than the others or maybe... your head is bigger... damn wides...

Congratulations Eirik! I have the same impression like you, the EPIC pushes the M-X sensor to the next level, the overall picture quality is very smooth, homogenous, and really nice skin-tones!

Thanks again everyone!

Our musicvideo was busted by bad wheater - we got some good shots, but we need to have a second go! And then I got ill for two days leaving the Epic-M idle... what a shame! (so Roberto footage is coming but i need some more time...)
But tomorrow my good friend Gunleik is coming over to take her on a test drive, looking forward to his initial impressions!

I have too much work these days to really do what I want to do, but I guess it´s impossible to get it all timed out perfectly, making sure to shoot at least two hours - no matter what seems like a good rule!
To all my Norwegian friends, take advantage of this and come for a test drive!

I continue to be overly impressed by this camera, and NOW the REDmote is now on it´s way - I guess it only gets better!
