Camels hair brush vs lens pen brush?

So I am kitting out an AC belt to stay with my Red for when I don't have an AC and am wondering about what's the fuss with Camel's Hair brushes. A 1" brush is almost $20, looks like a painters brush and appears difficult to keep clean. But for $10 you can get a nice Hakuba pen brush that retracts back into the pen and supposedly does the same thing (clean lenses). I must be missing something. Do I need a camels hair brush or two?

Going by your last sentence I would recommend getting one of each. Don't know what material the Hakuba is made of but I know you'll be happy with the camel's hair. It's pretty standard.
