OK. This is my only question. Honestly how much is all that gear worth? Sorry (edit) how much did all that gear cost? Answers please on a large postcard.

The glass is what really adds up. Matching set of master primes, 14mm all the way to the 150mm that are in the pic, matching optimo zooms ( 15-40, 28-76, and matched 12-1's). Now if we could only get a matched T-Rex for Stereo trick shots.....that would be sick.. Anyone selling one? They are so hard to find...

No but I'm coveting your set of V Lites! Shooting a feature on V-Lites Epic-Ms this month... Are yours the reduced coatings or normal? I hear rumors...

Rumors, eh? Funny. Still working on tweaking the coatings for what we're are calling the "Vintage" look...still have a couple of stock ones in the set.

More toys! Greg your an animal. Poor Watson is going to snap in half once you put all that stuff on an easy rig.

Greg,
sent you a PM about the use of the MP's on the Atom MB, as it comes originally with only an aperture of 120mm,
and we the MP's are much wider on the outside, especially the beast and beautiful 150mmm... ;)
So like to know if you got the larger MB or customized the one that comes with, either way, as every one knows,
I have intended to shoot 3D with MP's since conception he he,. so very interested to find out how your guys managed.
EDIT:
Thanks for the PM reply Greg, emailed your tech guy, now lets see if we get to fit in those MAster Primes on our Atom as well, before having to buy a larger MB... ;)
Thanks!!

Ketch are you referring to the lens diameter? Yes I'm curious as well since the MP's are huge and quite wide, yet they appear to fit in the Atom Rig shown in their picture ....

Yes Anthony,
they don't fit inside the opening of the Atom with current MB size holes, the front 114mm element does, but the lens does not go in as it is much wider on the outside,
and the Atom currently only allows for 120mm outer diameter lenses, MP's are wider then that, the 12mm and 150 way wider... ;)
So modifications are needed, and or a larger MB.

We just got a new mirror box from ET that allows for the master primes to fully fit within the portals. Also, the mirror is larger, allowing for much better coverage on the wide and of the range. Will post some pics Tuesday, as well of confirmation of the widest lens that works without seeing off the mirror, but our guys think we should be good even with the 14mm.

We were breaking all the rules with this job. Land, air, and sea with our Atom rigs. The optimo 12-1's are an Atom SBS rig that ET build for us for long range shots.

We got great stuff, and we learned alot as well. It was a good experiment. Certain angles off the nose and high air speeds caused some mirror vibration, but we didn't have time to secure the mirror box with any under bracing or add any dampening to the mirror itself. I anticipate that the next time we fly it we'll have all the bugs worked out. Hopefully we'll have a shroud that is big enough to cover the rig and the head.
