View Full Version : From RedAlert, size of dpx questions...

Footage shot at 4K. Animator wants 2K. Final delivery for 1920x1080.

4K = 4096x2048. 2K from RedAlert = 2048x1024. RedCine 2K (not film) is 2048x1152 and I resize the 4k image to fit top and bottom and lose a little left & right. Is there a way to do that that in RedAlert like it's done in RedCine? Or should I be using RedCine?

Use Redcine. RedAlert is what it is. We may put scaling in at some point, but not yet.
