Price seems pretty low for good s16.

Could be OK. It's an older 16 lens so there's likely quite a bit of flare and it's probably softer than modern lenses.
Also, the rear element seems to stick out WAY far. But I guess it was meant to clear the mirror shutter of an Arri S (or M, or 16BL) so it's probably OK for the glass/OLPF on the Red.
What's Whitehouse's policy on evaluation? Can you buy it, test it, and reject it for a refund? They're a known vendor in the used market, so it's at least a reliable source...

Doc, if I was getting a general zoom lens to cover S16 on the RED, I wouldn't go with one that is only 17.5mm at its widest angle. That's way too telephoto at the wide end to be of much general use for you, if that's assuming what you're after... a general range zoom. 10mm on the wide end should be your starting point, IMO.
