Tom,
sold my R1MX exactly one year ago, but friend of mine in Vienna (patient Epic-X stage 2 owner) has R1M and we together will test it in a few days.

Mitch,
you are right, still didn't test it on R1 or Epic but BOMB EVF from outside product design looks gorgeous.

Ketch,
thanks for your support.

Thanks Kwan,
I'm just experimenting because have bought the lens yesterday.
Reading instruction and online experiences from other users the lens has fixed distance to object from 0.60 cm to approximately 1.0 meter.
Also it doesn't have any focus adjustment.
To get 3D photo you have to use something like a Widows app StereoPhoto Maker (http://stereo.jpn.org/eng/stphmkr/) that you can run with Parallels on Mac OS X.
The I tried 3D video with a trick to cover lens electronic pins using tiny transparent tape 3M Scotch Magic ("Foggy") and it works.
You can record two separated stereo images simultaneously (see image below).

Now I have to figure out how can I get 3D video out of !!!???

Yes Sanjin, I'm reading with amusement and bemusement. I don't question the quality of the Bomb EVF. I've seen one in action, actually connected to a camera and functioning. But you have not. So I just find it kinda funny when you post "It's an amazing peace of gear, best I've got till now from RED."
I mean, really? You know that it is better than the original entire RED One camera before actually seeing it do anything? That's faith, man!

Mitch,
Unfortunately I can't get RED these days to test my BOMB EVF because they are all in a field and shooting.
It's a hot summer, man!
But it doesn't mean that I will not be able to test it soon.
Let you know about it later.
Btw, because of my experiments with R1 lens mount and warranty I'm "kicked out" from Epic-X program.
Epic-M is not "allowed" for me to get this summer due to one reason of danger to invest a lot of money for
a single digital camera just because if I would hold Epic-M today somebody for sure will kill me at the streets of Vienna.
That means my BOMB EVF is probably dedicated to one Scarlet Fixed!!??
Why?
I think Scarlet Fixed is the closest camera somehow be able to fulfill an old filmmaker dream
that is something like a Kubrik had with Arriflex 35 II shooting "A Clockwork Orange" with a 35IIC in 1970
or J.L.Godard and during his La Nouvelle Vague/The New Wave years during 60s and 70s.
http://homepage.mac.com/sanjinjukic/RED/space-odyssey-camera.jpg
It looks that a guy holds a Scarlet Fixed with Bomb EVF...!!!???

Kubrick shooting the famous "Singing in the Rain" scene in A Clockwork Orange with a 35IIC in 1970.
He has used an Arriflex IIC to some extent on every one of his films since.

At the end about a faith that is more or less a sort of religious feeling.
In that case I'm not so fond of any type of monotheism but more about sort of new age of polytheistic
in terms of Ancient Greek religion (see my new avatar like a Zeus  ) or even polytheistic Ancient Egyptian religion.
Any sort of monotheism is not heathy for human beige or even for our own planet and people will get that sooner or later (with a hope not too late).
Of course this relates also to digital cameras today.
BTW, I do have and also shoot with several other cameras than a RED.
The latest news is that R1 is coming tonight with a friend to my place and the I will finally have opportunity to test RED BOMB EVF!!!!!!!
Stay tuned.

Sanjin, thanks for the laugh. Every once in a while comments from left field are on the mark. :-)
BTW- Your friend Florian needs to work on his squint facial expressions. Some crews would have a hard time taking him seriously! :w00t:

Paul,
haha, hehe, hah hehe he
On that photo Florian had already a couple of glasses from the Italian red vine
Contucci Reserva 2006 Vino Nobile di Montepulciano (see the bottle that blurred at the table in background of the first photo!!!)
BTW, he just has got back from Nigeria where he shot a short feature with his RED1 (that R1 is on the photos above).
He also was AC on the Austrian feature that was presented at Cannes this year and was shot on Alexa.
That means you can like him or not but Florian is a professional.
