Don't try to open clips from the drop down File menu.

On the bottom left there are 3 little arrows labelled Browser, Bin and Export. Select the Browser tab, select the directory with your Red clips and you should see them appear as thumbnails in the Browser. Double click a thumbnail and it will appear in the Viewer window where you can play it, or drag clips to the timeline and play from there.

In browser, have you clicked on the folder to select it. Then you should see thumbnails by default or a R3D file listing if that has been selected at some point.

Hi Alexey,

Sorry to hear you are having trouble. Perhaps post a screen shot of the issue you are having?

Thanks,

Screenshot explains all :)

The thumbnail portion of your browser is almost hidden at the moment. You need to expand the window and perhaps drag the tree view portion over to the left so you can see the thumbnails. Failing that if you reset your layout from the menu it should go back to a nice default state.

but...

when I am trying to open file in player
I see the running line of downloading (in the buttom)

Maybe I need some special system requirements?

What graphics card are you using? You need to be atleast OpenGL 2.1 compatible. If you have an ATI, make very sure you are on the latest drivers. Even recent drivers had known issues that would cause a crash in RCX.

Thanks a lot!
I have installed tje last version of Radeon 1600 driver and REDCUNE-X now is not closing
but

When I press Open in Player I see how line of playing is runing in the bottom
but I can't see the video of Felix

So I think my Radeon 1600 videocard is maybe not enough for REDCINE x?

I'm afraid not -- I believe that card only supports to to OpenGL 2.0.
