No Photoshop. Just like the camera, the Force team's support for Red is real.
I was watching the race on espn2 and I remember seeing the red logo on the back of team force's helmets and on their cars.. kinda cool to see the marketing in action.

Jarred,
If you shoot anymore NHRA events with Frankie, make sure to watch David Cronenberg's Fast Company and rip off some of the shots. Best funny car footage in a motion picture, IMHO. Not so great as a Cronenberg movie, but they do some great car interior shots of the races.

HVX-200 The shots off the line are at 60fps, grabbed audio from other runs shot at 24. It was all handheld, hard to keep steady when you are directly next to 2 funny cars at the starting line.

Very cool; I've never been very impressed by cars going fast in a straight line but I must admit that when you see it live in full sensearound it is pretty cool.

He was standing by me a few times out there. At a glance it looked like he was using a Canon 5D or a Canon 1Ds MkII, with a Canon L series 300mm f.2.8 IS USM lens.

I agree that boat racing is fun. But it dose not screem of the awesome power that funny cars do.

And on top of that you can swing your camera around to catch the bikini speed boat bunnies. Never been to a funny car race but i doubt they're in bikinis hehe.
Damn, i'm just getting excited just thinking about all this 4K water racing footage.

I guess ... ask at NASA for ultimate tests.
They destroy like 5-7 cameras than let it go up there.
:D
... or if you are scary of this than simply ask Buba from Crusty Demons :D
I used to be at Lockheed.. we would destroy $25,000 pieces of hardware every couple months. I was also a test engineer at a couple other companies... My job was to shake and drop things until they broke, talk about a fun job :)

mmm.. Skunk works - home of all that stealthly things which fly, float, etc. And we will dont know about it even after 30 years from now :whistling:
Hehe.. not skunk works... that would be fun. I designed cutting edge things such as hinges and brackets for satellites - not exciting by any means.

Hi CVB,
Use to go to the Lockheed surplus outlet. It was amazing what kind of exspensive dodads you could pickup for pennies there! Yes your government tax dollar projects at work! lol
