hei!

Im thinking of getting the sahctler system 15 tripod. (can hold 33 pounds)

Will this hold for a red camara with battery, flash disk (no harddrive), a big lens, rods, mattebox, monitor and focus puller?
Do anyone know how much this will weigh?
Should i go for a stronger tripod, in that case, do anyone have any suggestions of what kind of tripod i should have a look on?

It would be great with some comments!

thanks!:detective2:

I have the 30-II and it works really well. My camera and gear- which I consider to be among the lightest configurations probably weighs in around the 30lbs mark, if I put a big lense on it, with longer rods, It would surely exceed it. I felt 75lbs tripod was what I needed

with a big lens you might run into the limit of a DV15 System, holding 33 pounds is measured at a COG of 100mm, with Monitor, EVF,.. your COG is higher and therefore max. load will be less. I´d go for a Cine 30 if it´s a Sachtler or a OConnor 2060. It´s also depending on what you´re going to shoot and how. (size, weight, assistant,...) The minimum head I´d go for would be a Sachtler Video 20 but only for ENG style setup.

There is no way the 15 system will hold the RED package with a zoom+ aks. Video 20 or 25 would be better, the 30 is pretty optimum.

Not mentioning that the DV15 is bit limited in it's pan/tilt fluid latitude.
