So there is a decent sized RED package available that a company is selling and I'm interested. I was hoping anyone in this forum could recommend the pricing for this package. Right now they are asking for $25,000 and I was trying to see how reasonable that is. Package is listed below:

2 - 8 GB compact flash drives
kingston 1 GB SD card
Lexar Pro Compact Flash Reader, Series FW800
Universal mount for 19mm rod
handle mount for 19mm
bottom plate
shoulder dovetail
top handle
top handle extension
2 - 19 mm long iris rods 19"
5.6" LCD monitor w/ arm
lcd cable 2ft.
mini-xlr cable
mini xlr adapter
bnc to din 1.0/2.3 cable
bolt set

thanks for any help!

Don't know what to say as a definite. You need to assess the cost yourself. The price seems fine (if this is an MX) but you need to ask yourself some questions relative to what you are going to use the camera for and what lenses you will use with it. Personally I would not want the spinning drive with the current tech being SSD. Similarly if you're going CF cards I would want the 16GB not the 8. Think out your entire desired package including support (tripod and head) and lenses. Then assess whether this meets your needs. i hope this helps.
