Anthony is one of those Fashion still guys that crossed over to the music video world and is kicking ass... now on RED.

Shot on Epic... a bit of controversy over this one because of the murder in the video ( hence the 40 million views ) ... but in real life, An EPIC lost it's life in the making of this one so take a moment of silence before you watch :)

I am so jealous ... I'd love to shoot a video for Rihanna.

Oh ... and an Epic died on this one? Is there a story to tell?

Her last video was the first taste Anthony had with EPIC.. They shot this video at RED STUDIOS..

A bit of Epic mixed in with 35mm film. Can you guess the shots?

Critically watch a Rihanna video? Me? Not a chance.

If I shot it, then my "professional mode" would kick back in, but there are some things I just can't critically watch unless its work, and Rihanna is on the list. These things are fewer and further in between now, so I cherish them and their ability to draw me in completely.

I think you're just rubbing it in now though. Rihanna at Red Studios ... so jealous.

I kind of thought Red Studios was more of a showroom/playground for Red stuff and for Red & Jim's own productions. I didn't know we could shoot our own projects there. Interesting.

Jim and myself ( and Deanan most of the time ) only take Stage 4 (as our office).. and we have one auxiliary building for the rest of the Hollywood gang, all the other stages are for rent... We have housed Weeds, True Blood, Dragon Tattoo, and many other features, tv shows , music videos and commercials since we purchased the lot just over a year ago.

So yes.. you can rent a stage or two.. its probably the best place to shoot RED.. we have a full support team, RED STORE, and backup everything at your disposal, plus Jim and I just may show up every once in awhile while you are shooting and show you some secret stuff :)

He uses very unique old lenses... the kinda glass that Sanjin would post 15 pages on if I listed them :)

Count me as double Jealous. This looks like a scene out of my upcoming film "The Manga Rhythm" to be shot on my Epic on location in Jamaica, Japan, and Canada/US. Its going to be awesome, now I just need financing : )

I watched in on here and it was superb quality on my iPad.

Probably one of the best looking music vids I have ever seen. It is superbly lit and shot, the footage is so rich and deep.

great cinematography, period. And great grading, it looks like they were aiming at an old-ish Kodak reversal film look for the day exteriors, or that's how I would describe it. :-) It could be my brains boiling because of the heat, but did they add film-like grain to the footage?

If you watch it on 1080P full screen it shows added grain.

I watched it at a small resolution and I thought it could be compression artifacts from YouTube, but it definitely looks like added grain (i must say, very nice added grain) at 1080p. Thanks for confirming it's not my brains melting :-)

I imagine Sanjin could make a reasonable guess. Although that might take more than 15 pages.

Absolutely stunning. Love the grade. Just look at how much you can "play" with this footage without loosing any perceivable detail. This is RED's main asset, and the brilliance of having raw. Love the slow motion, too. What frames per second was this shot on? What setting, Jarred? All 5K?

Yea the Grade is insane on that video...
