I'm using a Red Rocket via Cubix GPU Expander. While on Resolve v7.0.2 everything played back in real time, from half res good to full res premium, out the Decklink to a 1080p plasma. At the time I was using Driver 1.3.5.0 and Firmware 1.1.10.2.
I've since updated the Driver & Firmware to work with RedcineX 470, Epic darling, don't you know! Now that I've updated to Resolve v8, the playback stutters at time, staying in half res good at the moment. Any recommendation on which Red Rocket driver and firmware is optimum for Resolve v8? Do I need to return to the old D/F combo I was using? or is this a Resolve v8 bug I've discovered?
Current Red Rocket:
Driver 1.4.10.0
Firmware 1.1.14.40
By the way, LOVING v8. so many performance improvements, not to mention the curves. Oh, the curves! Thank you, Black Magic Design team. Your ongoing vigilance and improvement is awe inspiring and well appreciated.
