A Very BIG fan of Resolve v8 here. Can't believe the gift that keeps on giving, keeps on giving.
I really love the nodal implementation of HDR footage. Separate treatment of both tracks and the mixer node. AMAZING! Simply Awe Inspiring.
Now, with RedcineX 487 released I'm getting a taste for Magic Motion, and I like it. The perfect world would include a magic motion slider amongst all the simply amazing tools of DaVinci Resolve. Is that possible? In the works? Is there a way to simulate Magic Motion already within the comprehensive bag of tricks contained within Resolve v8 (that would make a member of House Gryffindor turn Death Eater) that I have yet to discover?
I'm setting up for the first season of a hand held, gritty reality 1 hour TV drama that will be employing HDR quite a bit. We are happy with the results, knowing that the software is constantly improving. God bless Red for providing such a wonderful software such as RedcineX, for Free no less! For our workflow and schedule, Resolve v8 fits the bill. Any further finesse I can offer will make us all quite ecstatic.
Any advice, tips, rumours would be greatly appreciated.
