is anyone shooting and processing 4k 16:9 yet?

Shooting 2:1 is a hassle.

it works, you are just not able to use the QuickTimes yet.

I think its an issue w/ quicktime. I know they are working on it.

Like I say you can extract dpx files just fine...you just cant offline w/ the QT's which makes the process too difficult.

shoot 4K 16x9 - open in REDCine and output anything you want..... works great. The QT reference movies are waiting for the update to the Red QT component (which also covers using RED Alert for viewing processing 4K 16x9)

works great but is very slow...

Hold up is on the QuickTime codec & RED ALERT side of things. I'm moving those over to a new code base that will enable 16 x 9.

REDCINE supports all resolutions

will REDCine be able to make QT proxies in the near future?

Hey Rob, will you be able to fix the dual monitor support in REDCine, it will only launch to the second display and not the menu bar finder display.
