easy setup offline online workflow

hi all,

am using resolve to render out files for offline in a feature film, avid is the editing tool and online will be done either in resolve, nucoda filmaster or iq....

how do i export dnxhd (i have the plugin) with reelname embedded in mxf, so that metadata will be intact for the conform back to original files? have tested all sorts of settings on export and none seem to embed reelname

if this is not possible if I render to prores 422 via easy setup then ama this into the avid, will the metadata in these files also link back to the original 4444 files?

Hi, in the config page, do you have 'Assist using reel numbers from the:' and 'Embedding in source clip' selected? Then in render, select source mode and 'render each clip with unique filename.'

Yes this seemed to work, but is it possible to get the full 16 letter reelname

That's exactly what you should be getting using Peter's suggestion. But if you aren't, you could try using the Source File Pathname option with a proper format string (the format string is explained in the user manual). That way you could specify exactly what you want.
