I've only got the lite version now... considering full version.

Yes, it is, and it's very powerful for HDRx. See my post regarding Epic vs. Alexa in the Epic forum.

How you can set up the HDRx footage in Resolve 8 is explained in the downloadable manual and it works.

It is currently the best way to deal with HDRx tracks that I have seen.

Couldn't disagree more. The way Resolve deals with Hdrx, essentially, is not really different, than any other software.

I can't speak for other applications but I do think the ability Resolve has to have different PowerWindows, qualifiers and NR on each exposure before they are mixed is fairly powerful.

Agreed, but again, it's not really different from other apps., like Scratch and FilmMaster, that I'd personally used for HDRx manipulation in addition to Resolve. It needs to be said, that unlike Resolve's real time NR, Scratch has no such capability.
Also, I'd like to take this opportunity and ask Peter a question, that I was wondering for while. In RCX one can see, that the shot has HDRx, when HDRx indicator becomes active. Is there such an indicator in Resolve alerting of the presence of HDRx?

Resolve 8 is awesome... I bought the Da vinci control surface and couldn't be happier... Peter Chamberlain is very knowledgeable and can help with any issues. I would also recommend FXPHD's Warren Eagles Resolve course as for $200 it is worth every cent.

Warren gets more than that a hour for colour grading! And you can learn a lot about HDRX and many other features.

Not in current released code Jake. :smile5:
