Hey guys
Wanted to see if any of you are having this issue. I am running Resolve on a 2008 3.0ghz mac pro, gt120, gtx285, decklink hd extreme plus and monitoring via HDMI on a panasonic VT30.
I get realtime playback for DPX with 10 bit monitoring selected, but not with prores files. So when I switch down to 8 bit for prores files, scaling seems to be enabled eventhough the monitoring out settings are on unscaled. So I cant get full range monitoring in 8 bit.......
Thanks!

So I called blackmagic support and this appears to be an un-known issue. I appear to be the only one so far who has had this problem.
The tech that I spoke with is going to check it out on his system by hooking up a 10bit plasma via HDMI and let me know what he finds.
So, no one else here has seen this on thier systems?

My copy of Lite is doing this now also. It was working fine yesterday. It looks like when in 8-bit monitoring it forces video scaling. 10-bit it will go full or video scaled. Very troublesome. Is there a permissions thing going on with the database?

wondering if this might be a driver issue. 7.9.5 is currently installed.

So I have a friend who has the same setup as I do and has not swithed to v8. He is still on v7.1 (I think) and his system works fine. But when we tried to install v8 it showed the same behavior that my system does.

Sent an exported project to Dwaine at BM. He took a look and verified that its a bug in v8 and that the development team is being made aware of it.
Thanks Dwaine!

No word yet on a fix, but I'm assuming that it will be patched in v8.1 since they are aware of it now.
