Will Redcode work with Apple's new Leopard?

I would hope RED is working with a pre-release of Leopard so we can all buy a dual quad Mac with Leopard and an optimized Redcode to tear through its circuits. Tell me, is it true!?!

One Idea - for the RED Camera - a simple playback button that would jump back and play the shot that you just shot - automatically. Like checking the gate, you hit the button, it plays the take, everyone approves and you move on. (Rather than a VCR or Tivo of having to scan backwards to the beginning, find the slate and press play - this would be a serious time saver!) Is this a possibility or do we have to wait for a firmwear upgrade?

I'm sure the RED team is all over this... Leopard is due before NAB and hopefully will arrive by then. Apple should have updates to their "pro" apps at NAB and I would imagine they will want to capitalize on features in Leopard with the updates. Not to mention, those 8-core Mac Pro systems with dual X16 PCI-E interfaces for multi-card SLI/CrossFire style video configurations and other hardware goodies.

...Or maybe I'm just dreaming.

I'm willing to bet they're developing on the bleeding edge per Mac OS X 10.5 and REDCINE [the application]. REDCODE is a series of image compression formats which will work with any Quicktime-supporting application.

I'm also willing to bet that the playback interface on the RED ONE will be both linear [rewind to play] and clip-based [find the take and click it]. Whether playback from the camera is viable on every set out there is another matter which has been discussed in great detail on here... I recommend checking it out. I'm sure somebody with a better memory will post the name of the thread.

Clip-based playback is far more natural than VCR-style rewinding, given that the camera stores clips in separate files. I wouldn't actually be too surprised if it doesn't even support VCR-style rewinding outside of the currently selected clip; the notion doesn't make a lot of sense in a file-based world, though technically it wouldn't be too hard to implement.
