Sorry to post yet another FCPX thread, but I thought this was a very intelligent and interesting discussion

Thanks for the links, watching now... Michael Cioni is in :-)

For those who missed it I just released a new applescript app to conform FCPX project in AfterEffects with R3D relink called foolcut_AE (http://foolcolor.net/foolcut)

For those who were sad with FCPX, no longer being able to edit offlines and finish with full quality raw files, now there an option to do it in AE...

Stay tuned as I will try to do more tools to export from FCPX to other hosts in the coming weeks...

We had a blast putting on the event!

Be sure to check out the rest of the micro site for the panel event trailer (more fun, more melodramatic, more...well edgy!) at http://www.keycodemedia.com/the-final-cut.html , as well as some behind the scenes 3D stuff and workflow documentation.

No, not shot on RED. Apologies all around.

Just finished watching all six parts. Some great insights there from Michael Cioni and Larry Jordan.

Mikeal, are you the first out of the gate with a translation tool for FCPX?
Congratulations on the release.

Yes i think it is the first image translation tool released for FCPX. There is an OMF export tool already available from autoduck.
I'm working on a new tool to send FCPX to FCP7 xml, then we can also use it for OMF, EDL or go into other apps like REDCINE-X, DaVinci etc
