Okay, can't quite get my head around a few things, hoping to get pointed in the right direction:
1. Red clips used multiple times. Imagine a talking head that cuts in and out of an edit. It's the same take so Resolve treats it as a group and the same nodes appear on all instances. If I change one, they all change. Can someone tell me the best way to treat them individually? I got it to work but don't remember how, and if it was the best approach.
2. When round tripping from FCP via XML, the clips appeared to go into Resolve okay but when I render and save a new XML from Resolve, I open it back in FCP and there are lots of gaps that weren't there, plus I seem to only get the first instance of a clip. Similar to point 1, if there are multiple talking heads from the same take, only the first seems to be there, and the rest are offline.
3. Most of the clips coming back into FCP are out of sync or just plain wrong. Perhaps connected to the multiple use of each clip, can't really be sure.
I'm sure these are simple things that when I get it right will work perfectly, but at the moment the results are so unpredictable it's quite frustrating.
Any head start would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks!
