Hi all,

I'm getting funny colorful and black and white shapes appearing in playback and renders when I use NR, sometimes (rare) it even crashes resolve. Please see the attached photo for reference.

I'm running (Hackintosh);

Resolve 8.01
OS X SL 10.6.7
GUI GTX 285
GPU GTX 480 (cards enabled via 'strings' / boot.plist)
Decklink HD Extreme 3D
Cuda 4

Has anyone even seen this before? Could it be from overheating GTX 480? It definately seems like a GPU problem.

I'm also using this in the debug to ensure the GTX 285 isn't used for GPU and only GUI;

"LsManager.3.NumGPUs = 1
LsManager.3.GPUMapping = 0
LsManager.3.GPUMappingEnable = 1
System.Record.Lookahead = 5"

Other perfomance is great (7 blur nodes realtime)....it's just NR and the occasional crash with NR/scaling and stabilisation (but not tracking which is odd). Those weird shapes only appear with NR though..

ANY help in finding a solution is appreciated.

Thanks!

Two q's:

1. is it repeatable? Eg does it always happen on the same footage when applied with the same settings? Then you can send Blackmagic your project file and footage and they can reproduce it.

2. if you take the 480 out of your system and try running Resolve using the 285 only, do you still get the issue?
