Hi,

I did some testing with HDRx from Epic-M and now I see the differences in grading HDRx footage with Resolve and REDCINE-X Pro with Magic Motion.
Anything with fast motion or camera movement is hard to manage the edges in Resolve because it does not have "Magic Motion". Is Magic Motion something that third party implement in their software?

Storm was, supposedly, working on it, until they are no longer.
Right now you can open HDRx in AE and apply motion blur to the X track only.

Hey Jake,

I tried the blur in the X frame node in Resolve but it didn't work well but I was wondering if there's more to it. Doing onelight with Magic Motion in RCX pro and grading in Resolve does the ob for now but thanks for your tip.

Jake was suggesting motion blur in AE, not normal blur in Resolve. I can't imagine that looked very good as it isn't motion based.
