BOMB EVF Refresh Rate Issues?

Hi Guys,
Just received our BOMB EVF and whilst the picture quality is great, there seems to be an issue with the refresh rate.
I am struggling to describe the issue but it seems the refresh rate of the display is very low.

The picture is fine with no movement, but any movement of the camera will cause the low refresh rate issue.
I was just wondering if this has happened to anyone else or if I have something set wrong?

One more thing to mention is that the issue gets better with higher frame rates selected. As in the issues is much more apparent at 25fps than 300fps.
I have tried at both ends of the scale (5k FF and 2k 2.4:1), and the frame rate set in the camera seems to be the only thing affecting the reduction of the refresh rate on the EVF.

Any suggestions or info would be greatly appreciated.

Just received ours and having what appears to be the same issue. I'm guessing its something to do with beta firmware.

Nice to see I am not crazy!
After a bit of research I found this on the RED store under the "Specs" for the BOMB EVF:
"Display modes: Free run (60 FPS independent of camera shutter speed), Synchronous (integer multiple of camera shutter speed), Open Gate (images at camera shutter speed for follow-focus work. NOTE: With camera at 23.98 / 24 / 25 / 30 FPS and shutter angle < 180 degrees)"
Dose anyone know how o if it is possible to change between these modes?

I also been told of this from some other people as well.. Ours is fine.. but I hope it doesn't start playing up either.

Send tickets off to RED SUPPORT... and share the fix with us all.

It drives me crazy and renders the Scarlet unusable. Tried every trick in the book. I hope there is a way to reset/program the Red Touch without having to return the complete set.

MY bomb EVF flickers when I pan. Its unacceptable. Is this a camera issue or a bomb evf issue?

I just hooked my bomb Evf to another epic right out of the box and it flickers there too. The lack of response from red on this issue is disturbing. I wish they would get involved.

I guess the question is whether the BOMB EVF and its signalpath is firmwareupgradeable or not, and whether the bomb is capable of faster refreshes.
