Enclosure Fans?

Looking for any tips on replacing the fans in my JMR Blustors for quieter versions.

Any advice greatly appreciated if it prevents me from toasting my drives!

What size of fans are currently in there (I'm not familiar with JMR Blustors)? 120mm, 80mm? If you have the space to put in a larger one, that will greatly reduce the noise level. What brand/spec fans are currently in place?

I missed this thread. I use the Silenx fans. They are quiet and come in lots of sizes. I have several of the 120mm 11dBA and 18dBA fans. The 18s are about as loud as I want use.

I have a couple of the 80mm 14dBA fans in my expansion chassis.

I have used gelid silent fans, which work great.

Thanks guys - appreciated. I'll try and find out the spec of the ones that are in there. In the UK i think our studios are often smaller than in the US........it's lonely outside. :)
