i don't think this has been asked anywhere else, so let me have a go here.
Has there been any thought to a software apllication to compress uncompressed 4k RAW footage to REDCODE? The potential use of this being chiefly concerned with slo-mo 4k footage on the RED RAID.
I know we have to capture uncompressed, would there then be any system whereby we could REDCODE that footage to add it to the rest of our dailies?( basically as a disc-space saving endeavor.)
I know the sentence construction sucked there......it been a loooong week
