So Vegas 11 it is out, and:

we've added support for RED EPIC clips.

The other big thing is the full utilization of all GPUs with Open-GL.

I'd love to hear what kind of playback you guys get with V11 on 5k files, with which GPU.

1/4 res is comfortably real-time, Core i7 970, GTX 560 Ti. 1/2 res starts dropping frames after a while, but real-time for about 10-20 seconds or so. Overclocking doesn't seem to help so the bottleneck is elsewhere. This is on a 4K, 8-bit timeline. Dropping to a HD timeline seems to improve performance.

same specs PC, but internal raid0 REVO SSDs as C and D drives, half res works OK

Why does the color differ so mutch with Redcine-x? It's like they use the old redgamma and didn't update it with the new epic color pallet?

would actually really love to try it out, and was just going to make the purchase , but the different colorspace makes me wurried , hope they fix this asap.

what about HDRx??? They probably don't support it yet...
