Just wondering if anyone else is having this issue. I rented this card for a project and installed the latest Red Rocket Driver 1.4.16.0, and firmware 1.1.15.4. I have this running in my Mac Pro 4,1. Right now it is in slot 3 as recommend for work with Resolve, yes I know this is only a 4x slot but Davinci was adamant on this config which works pretty flawless. Any other config drops performance. I should mention I am running Redcine X Pro v4 but also attempted in RedcineX build 501 and still same issues. I checked the pins on the card and there is no damage whatsoever. The system reads the Rocket correctly and warns about the card being in a 4x slot. I am able to play 1/2 res real time in the 4x slot and full at about 13-18fps in the 4x slot. Whenever I switch to full I get quite a few blue lines across the screen at random points each time I play back and at half ever so often I get a blue line. I am running the files straight off my desktop hard drive which is a 7200rpm seagate drive. I should also state I am just working with Red One MX footage 4KHD at 23.98.
I have noticed several of my renders output from Redcine as well as Resolve 8.1 have some strange lines across the footage. Check out the attached stills for example. The lines appear differently every time. I troubleshooted by removing the rocket and there were no lines in any footage. What could be the issue here?
I have tried reinstalling Driver and firmware, reboot, reinstall redcine, reinstall resolve, roll back to the previous release driver and firmware for the rocket, multiple reboots after each reinstall. Still having the same issue.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated as I am not the owner just a renter. Owner states card had no issues in his system. While I realize the card should be in a faster slot, for Resolve I know a lot of people with this exact setup and they have no issues.
Please excuse the jpeg compression on these grabs as they are very low quality...
