Hi I've a Hackintosh, with gtx470 graphic card (for GUI and GPU), davinci v8.0 and MC color control surface.
my problem is having flicker in Preview playback whenever I put a window qualifier, and the preview playback keeps flickering till I restart resolve, then everything is good, but if I used another window in any other clip, I get the flicker one more time, could anybody help me how to solve this?

On a legit mac pro you have to delete the AppleGraphicsPowerManagement.kext located in your systems extension folder. This should fix the flashing preview, it did for me and i am using a 470 as GPU in my setup

The AGPM.kext actually regulates the card and in return throttles the speed down causing the card to get stressed thus creating the flash frames.

Yeah I have a gt120 for GUI and am running smooth. You really shouldn't use just one card for GUI and GPU as your stripping it of performance.

Buy a gt120 from macvidcards on eBay. As stated in other threads most people buy from him. A gt120 is pretty inexpensive.
