The Canon K35 zoom lens was build with an interchangeable mount system, including PL, BNCR and both Arri mounts. My lens unfortunately only arrived with the Arri bayonet mount, which is not much of use to me - all of my other lenses (K35 primes) are BNCR and I would prefer to use only one mount.

I thought I'd ask around if anyone has that lens and would be ready to sell their BNCR adapter mount, in case they use PL only - or by any other chance has that spare part left.

Your help would be very much appreciated - thanks!

Hi David,
The original mount for this zoom came with a Arri s mount machined together with a BNCR all in one piece. Any other mounts were added later by somebody other than Canon. When these were made originally PL and Arri B were not yet made or thought of. I receyly added a very strongly made PL adaptor with grub screws to one I sold and it was a solid item and worked very well.
The lens is so heavy it requires a support from rails which I am told also came with the lens.I guess its all down to the original owners etc as to whats they kep in the drwer when they sold on.
They should also come with a 2x range extender by Canon.
Hope this assists.

Hi Tony, thanks a lot for clarification. I might try to reproduce the part or possibly get hold of one now rather rare bayonet/BNCR adapter instead...
Best regards, David
