Is the deposit refundable

I am seriously considering putting down the deposit on a Scarlet, but I cannot figure out if the deposit is refundable.

Anyone have the answer? I can't find anything in the terms on the Red Store.

I am not sure of this, but when I bought an Epic, I had to put down a 10% deposit similar to Scarlet. Full payment had to be delivered to Red within 7 days or so. I assume that if full payment isn't made by then, they will release your funds as well as your order.

Ha. I was so desparate by that point (trying for about 15 minutes to get from just the credit card page ... to clicking the continue button) that by the time the terms of sale finally came up I just hit continue instantly hoping to get through before the server froze again.

So after you pay the deposit, you have 7 days to pay the full amount? Or do you have to pay full amount within 7 days after being contacted by your Bomb squad rep that your order is ready?

As a potential user with brainlock from trying to figure out what I really need to transition from a 'toy' camera to a real camera (affects a lot more than just the camera) - it might be nice to have an option to be able to put down a refundable deposit - and then later decide on the exact features? Congrats on the Scarlet launch!
