Hi Guys,

Need a little bit of help in understanding that Sony LMD2451W http://pro.sony.com/bbsc/ssr/cat-monitors/cat-videoproduction/product-LMD2451W/ has a 10 bit Panel or it does processing of 10 bit video. What is the difference and which monitor is a good alternative to the Sony, that has a 10 bit panel. I am getting the monitor for with HDSDI Board (4.2.2 Only) is for around USD 3900.00 (Including shipping and taxes)

Ok its a 8 bit panel with 10 bit processing, quite expensive considering HDSDI board needed to be purchase for connecting it to PC. Me tilting towards FSI Scientific LM 2461W! Yay!

Hello Asif

I had one of these monitors and I was not very happy with it. First the price was too high for the quality you get. I also did not like the scan lines that appeared through the screen on fast paced video. I had mine connected HDSDI out of a blackmagic multibridge eclipse, I needed it for a job and right after I got rid of it.
