Hello everybody, hey Jarred long time since 2-pop !. Looks like you have to end up building (helping to) the camera we dreamt of years ago.
I love the option to put the batt/drive on top of the camera ala Moviecam Compact/Arricam SL.

Is Red going to offer something like the Arriglow so we can see it on the VF and videoassist monitor but not on the recororded image.

I love the weight specs since it´s almost the same than my Moviecam SL which I found out to be perfect. I have an ultraprime lens set (from the SL) waiting for my RED body. Can´t wait to see how they play togheter. I´m also getting a LFF-1 and an MB-20 and i have a Sachtler Horizon plus waiting for it.

BTW, Is Red planning to develope a regular prime lens set ?.

The viewfinder is electronic, so there is no need for an Arriglow equivalent - the whole image will glow [along with the frame lines].

There are rumors about a prime set from RED - I think Jim mentioned it at one point - but it'd be a ways off.
