I see 2007 will be year of RED and probably Apple Computer. All vision of affordable making moving images will change. It is called the New Movie Revolution. This could make a huge impact on the Content of the future moving images. It will influence and change Hollywood and other "Factories of Dreams" around the Globe. All it is about a new "picture" of the World.

Tees would be great. I actually went into the Oakley store in Palm Springs a few months ago and asked if they had any shirts or hats (seemed like a logical place to sell them!) and the poor girl had no idea what Red even was, let alone why they would be selling them in an Oakley store.

Jim, if you do have some shirts or hats, you should consider selling them at the Oakley stores or online so the fanboys can start wear them to the shows and into Panavision and rental houses when they pick up their gear for current shoots :)

months ago asking reservation holders what color hat they would
prefer. After several months and no goodies in my mail box, I

Okay, so now that the passes are out of the way, what does everyone say about a Red Bash to celebrate the new "announcements"? Pick a club and a night.

The Expo side of it is the 16th to the 19th which is all I really care about going to along with any Red screenings or special events.

Really want to book the Hotel and get it over with but don't want to miss any parties/screenings/events.

Any ideas? Last days at anything usually suck as everyone just wants to go home, so 19th is out. First days, all event people are stressed with booth malfunctions, so I would say 16th is out. That leaves 17th or 18th or both.

Jim and Co., hopefully you won't schedule anything for before the 16th so those of us non members who are only coming to the expo don't have to sit around for a few days waiting for the expo to begin.

I can certainly understand if you want to hold NAB event announcements for when you get closer to the show, but can you give us a non-commital hint ;) ;) at days that would be a good bet to book hotel nights--just in case there happens to be an event announced at a later date that a reservation holder might want to attend?

When all of a sudden a milk girl running down the aisle - in slow motion like the 1994 Apple Ad chased by secutity throws her milk bottle onto the Sony screen - CRASH!!

Then we all turn our backs on the Sony booth looking at Apple's BOOTH next to RED's Tent - revealing our slogan on our T-shirts - "Don't worry, its just spilled milk... YA RIGHT. See you in 4k!" Suddenly RED's new Demo reel explodes in 4k redcode off the new Mac quad core.

Apple might have to update their logo to a RED APPLE with Jim's spinning Red saw logo cutting a bite out of it. Sweet Dreams...
