Very nice webpage, not too busy and complicated and of course full of great work.

For some reason I love Shadowboxer #4. As an image it just works. The scene itself has a nice texture to it.

David is my favorite DP on the rise. I am always rooting for him and I hope to one day be able to work with him. When one of his films are screened I always say to the others "oh, I know him. He's a friend" (even if Davis doesn't know me at all, I still feel like he's a friend)

P.S. David, I am still waiting for you to one day publish "The Collected eMails of David Mullen, Asc". I know it would beat any film book and how-to guide out there!

That's why there are the ASC letters behind the name:)
You dont get it for nothing.
I'm a big fan of all the members in this "club".
It's very nice of you David that you take your time to answer so many questions on a regular basis.
This section is the best of the whole forum.

Congratulations David !!! on joining as Moderator of this forum.
How do you manage to Moderate so many forums?

I'm not a moderator over at Cinematography.Com actually. I moderate, I guess, my own section on StudentFilmmakers.Com but that's about it.

Blame the WGA strike I guess for my increased presence on the internet...

David, this is the scan I really want for a blow-up!

It's a lot nicer than that digital still. Any way to get a high-res scan? Are there plans for an HD release of Farmer?

I don't know of any HD version coming out, though of course there are 2K and 1080P masters of the movie in the vault. Maybe someday. It's probably going to play on some HD channel also, I would assume (don't know for sure) -- maybe there's a way to grab a frame off of that.

Yeah, if someone bit torrents it from HDTV, then we could get 720 or 1080 grabs.
