Hey guys,

I've purchased a number of Nikon lenses for feature that I did with HVX 200 + Redrockmicro adapter set up. However, 24mm F2 lens that I bought off
Ebay produces mirror image, which I call 'ghost image,' of bright subjects.
It's like I have two layers of an image, but only not aligned together.
I believe the elements in the lens are mis-aligned, and I was wondering if anyone here knows a store that fixes this problem that I can trust.
I was thinking of...well... just throwing away, but I've heard it's not too expensive service. Around...$100?

Thanks in advance.

If you are looking to buy or service PL mount cine lenses I recommend Jorge
at cinematechnic in Miami an authorized Zeiss technician and very savvy lens guru.

THat sounds more like a problem with the Redrockmicro adapter. Doesnt that perticular DOF machine flip the image off of a mirror to correct for the lens? That sounds like something htat would generate a reflection. Have you tried using the lens on a regular old nikon camera? I guess if its only the one lens it could be a misalignment problem...

Many lens problems resolve themselves at upper fstops, does stopping down to f8 or so make the ghost image less apparent? or does it stay the same?
