2 cameras up. Playing with RED lens as well as our Arri and Cooke glass. Lots of photos. We've seen the red light but not pulled any footage. This product and the quality of work that the RED guys have done is awesome. The camera and all of the do-dads are actually cooler/better that we would have ever imagined.

OK- massive fun all morning! Two cameras alive and well. Like I said, EVERYTHING that came out of the boxes was top-notch. 4K images aside, this is some beautiful equipment. The attention to detail is just awesome. Every little wing-nut is cool!
We have run a bit of footage already and it is exactly what we had hoped for. Oh, and we DO have audio! Nothing pretty to look at yet. May have a quick and dirty test later this afternoon. Perhaps later next week we'll get some nice stuff to show. Attached are some un-boxing fun.
Thanks to everyone at RED and extra special thanks to Kelly, Brent and Sean for their hard work these last few days getting everything together.
Happy RED New Year!!!

Quote from our DP Brad:
"Short test drive of #106 & 107 today, Bright sun on Colorado snow with detail, the water cooler inside the building and all the condensation on the bottle with detail. 9 stops! And this is a SYSYEM, everything fits and works together. those of you waiting are in for a treat."
In other words, we shot out the window to our snow-covered parking lot, and could still see the water cooler inside the dark building with no lights. Try that with an F900! Still can't shake how cool the whole package fits together. Jim and company have really opened a new chapter in motion pictures- it's like everything we hoped for HD but didn't really get. Now we really get digital CINEMA and a bad-ass package. Good times ahead!
Jeff- no specific party plans yet as this coming week is a bit weird, but stay tuned!
