Has anyone had experience with any 3D beamsplitter waterproofing? We have a shoot coming up that will take place on some rapids, as well as shooting across various river bends. The rig will most likely be a 3ality Technica Quasar, Atom, and/or Neutron. We currently have the Harrison Large Rain Cover, but are looking for something more to help deflect from the large beamsplitter opening.
The Gates Housing is too heavy for topside, and unfortunately Spintec rain deflectors (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YaSVi7h03as) only go up to 105mm in size currently.

Lawrence,
I will have a solution for side-by-side configuration spaced just 98mm apart in 4-5 weeks. Send me an email and I will contact you in due course.

Check out shooter slicker. They have proper rain covers for the quasar and atom, I have used them in rainforests and they are very very good. They will customize the cover to your needs and Susan the owner is an absolute pleasure to deal with. IMO there is no other cover that matches their quality.

We built a custom splash bag and "air knife" to shoot topside water level shots on "shark night". The air knife to keep water off the glass took a bit of refining but ended up working well. I will post some pics once I get a chance.

Call Hydroflex. They have "Air Knife" / Rain / Splash Bags for Quasar / Atom etc.
