Lesson of the day. Disk arrays are dangerous.... to put it short.
Our Maxx digital red rocket raid 4Tb had a power supply that blow up... I was not to worried. A new one was ordered and installed... got a bit scared when the thing did not show up on the desktop as usual... All discs where lit/spinning. but nobody home. After several hours of online support from maxxdigital that tried their best to rescue the drive they manage to make it come back as a blank... Nothing there zip, nada... no data at all, the technician asked me if I ever used the system... I informed him I had a few production stored there, luckily most of the content was backed up somewhere else... but of course not that one clip that I need from that raid... One single little r3d file thats all I need.
Well the maxi digital guys told me to try the disk warrior program.. same thing there a blank drive was all that popped up after the analyzation.
But then there is a hint that it finds 11 folders and 50 or so files.. but they do not show?
Is those folders some sort of system folders or could that be my project folders and if so how can I reach them...?
The computer that is hooked to the raid is reachable trough both logmein.com and Team Viewer... if you manage to find a R3D file on that drive for me that is called: A004_C025_117HA and is a forest clip shot from a car before the snow landed in sweden...
Well then I'm very, very happy to transfer 1000USD straight to your paypal account.
Send a PM if you think you are the true MR Doctor Disk , then I send you login info and you can get cracking...
