I remember seeing spike around two months ago and haven't heard about him since. We all saw Frankie at the drag races but we don't have any more baby pictures of Spike. You guys at RED have anything you can drop? Obviously Spike was not yet ready to record images at the time of the races. I'd be happy with any info you could let out.

I heard a rumor that Spike is now a proud father?
Is that True?
Spike Jr or was it triplets - Fang, Claw, Saber?
How about some pics of Spike and his new offspring?
If not, Kelly, with some more or less RED stickers will do. ;-)
or a joint shoot with GoDaddy.com's Model with Kelly shooting her with a Spike. Now that would be a dream come true.

HANG IN THERE TEAM RED!
I know it sounds like a lame cliche but you are making the dream come true. I know every person visiting these boards is thinking of you everyday and want you to be successful.
The hard work is VERY appreciated.

is it too early to tell how many cameras are in the "first batch" of shipping cameras? i have red 116 and 263, wondering how big a gap will be between each one.. and also until the first one.. its cool if there is no answer for this of course.. =]

I'm guessing they will come in batches of 50 with a week in between shipments for the first month or two.

Shipping before, during or after NAB?

We don't know the answer to that one yet... I'm guessing they'll ship after NAB, but not very long after. Hopefully final working prototypes will be at NAB for all to see. Too bad I can't go. Or at least I don't think I can go, but I'm still trying to find a way.

I may like to have updates... even though everyone at RED is working so hard, but i am the first to say, I'd rather wait a month or two... and have a slower role out of cameras to make sure things are done to Jim's standards, as well as, I am sure, they will be.
Jim, we are all behind you. A bit of news, even one sentence a week, would be nice... like the footsteps... Spike shoots first sunset, Spike records 4 tracks of sound, REDCODE encodes from Spike. Spike has first cold but recovers with beautiful images...
I know you have surprises at NAB, but there must be some boring stuff that us buyers would love to hear and no-one else would. Like how was Spike's first output? Was it solid or soft?
LOL - we watched you climb Mt. Everest, give us some pictures... and we can't wait to see you climb down and kick ass at NAB! Sorry, but we are your base camp and when RED wants to be silent for a month... give us some more stickers... kill the rumors... hire Jerrod as RED PR... 1 sentence a day of RED news... such as "red snowboard test too hot to handle... Kelly makes Red and global warming acceptable. Al Gore wants a meeting. Jim won't accept his Oscar. ;-)

Thanks for the update Jim. Glad to hear Spike is getting ready for his close up at NAB. Hopefully, he'll be more green than Al Gore's 20 bedroom house that I hear today costs over $1200 in electric bills a month alone... but that's another thread... hopefully a dead thread.
