Hi everyone,

Evin first of all congratulations for all the great articles you're puttin on this forum. My question is simple....What do you and others think of the Nikon ED AF Nikkor 80-200mm f/2.8 D....what are thre pros and the cons for using this lens as a tele lens for red one... At the moment I owe three nikkor lenses: 16/2.8d af, 50/1.4D AF and 80/1.8D AF, and I will definitely buy a 17-35/2.8D you've revied, which leaves the gap for a tele....This lens has been praised at www.kenrockwell.com however I wish to comment on this lens from the point of view of red one...If anyone has any inputs...you are more than welcome...And Evin if by any chance that you'll be able to review also this lens...that would be great...

Best regards to all ya future red one users

I've got thte 80-200, and I expect it to get a great review if even tests it. Its very sharp, even at 2.8, and at 4 its sharp as anyone could want on my d2x.

Color and contrast are very good, the only reason to use it and not the newer 70-200 is the manual ap ring.

I plan on using it mucho.

I also have the Nikkor 80-200 f/2.8 AF-D. Also have a Nikkor 180 f/2.8. Excited to see these lenses perform on RED, too!
