I'm really feeling a little stupid because even google couldn't answer my questions, hopefully one of you can point me in the right way.
I installed a Bluray/DVD Burner in my Editing system, but I never burnt a disc with windows 7 and am not sure what to do.
Windows is able to burn both, DVD and Bluray although there seems to be an error with calculating the false disc space.
Do I use this built in tool or do I need a third party application to:

1. Burn a Data DVD and Bluray with files that should be readable on Mac aswell.
2. Burn a Disc Image out of Encore not as data, but to create a viewable DVD/Bluray on any player.

I'm kind of lost, because when I insert a DVD windows asks how it should be used: As USB Drive or to use with DVD player.
Does that mean the first option is for data- and the second for video DVD... I don't think so.

ImgBurn is what I use to burn data and ISOs to DVD and Blu-ray.

I use Adobe Encore to create my Blu-Rays and DVDs.
1. Create ISO files in your local hard drive. once ISO is done . you can use any software like Cyberlink/Nero/ImgBurn to write Image on BluRay or DVD.
2. Don't worry about window dialogs you get on windows 7 when you insert the blank disk. you just close them.

Sometimes technologie is just strange. I got it to work by burning one DVD with the software, that came with the drive. now it also works flawless with ImgBurn.
