That would be a big help. I've heard that changing the XML out of FCP to read in REDCODE requires some work. I don't know how much work but if FCP is going to fix that soon, that would be awesome.

Final Cut Pro ***ONLY*** works in QuickTime. Native *RT SUPPORT* for our codec inside Final Cut Pro already exists. Available since FCP 6.0.2.
We've already stated that we're working on some other bits and bytes for FCP, but FCP only understands QuickTime. Hopefully that will change some time...

I have no clue what you're talking about here... are you talking about outputting an EDL XML from FCP to load into REDCINE to then output the final 4K?

I think he means the conversion/parse of the fcp xml to be loadable in RC Rob.
Can't find any info on this meeting.

So will we ever be able to take .R3D in FCP and work with them? Will we have Redcine style control over them in FCP? Or will we only ever be able to use the reference files in FCP and have limit control of them?
