Has anyone encountered a problem with the Scarlet freezing up on 1/3 of the frame (the left side in my case).

-Camera had been on for about 10 minutes while we were setting up
-Reformatted 2 REDMAGs
-Had made look adjustments

Then:
I stepped away for about 30 seconds and when I picked the camera back up- the left 1/3 of the frame was frozen with weird lines going down it (picture below). An error message popped up "Error: 0x0000001D Please save log and send to RED support" (picture below).

-Saved Log and powered down
-I rebooted the camera and it seemed fine for about 2 minutes and then did it again.
-I re-installed the firmware (v2.0.5) and then it did it again.

I have not been able to get in touch with anyone at RED, but am now at a stand still. Just received the camera and have made it through 2 test days without so much as a hiccup. Any ideas from anyone?

Please open a support ticket and send in your log file. Everything should be back online today.

Do you have anything else connected to your setup besides the LCD? and how are you powering the Scarlet?

Support ticket and log have been sent. 5" Touch LCD, REDmote, and Canon 70-200 2.8L (Stabilization off) were attached and the camera was powered off of an AB QRC GOLD Plate with AB Dionic. After reinstalling firmware camera kicked up same error with only LCD attached on AC power and no lens.

i'm having the same problem but on epic x, same error message. any thoughts on this? could this be a redmote compatibility error since part of the changelogs is a fan calibration of the camera

My camera ended up having to be shipped back to RED. It was gone for a week and everything was covered by warranty. There hasn't been a single problem since it came back though. My recommendation if you are having what sounds like the same problem is to call your Bomb-Squad rep asap and they will help you get the ball rolling.

Hi Seth,
I've got this error message as well at the moment, did they ever say what the problem was or how it occurred?

Thanks,

Phil
