LTO-2 Good Enough for Storing RedCode

I am looking into LTO for archiving purposes. Is LTO-2 good enough for storing this footage on?

Also, with LTO, can you use it to edit off of? Or is just to store the footage on?

An LTO-2 tape will store a couple of hours of REDCODE RAW 4K. You'll be swapping tapes twice as often as with LTO-3, but it's not too impractical.

But, no, you can't edit off of any sort of data tape.
