Converting signal to SD?

Is there anyone with experience of signal converters?

I've got a very good on camera image and audio transmitter that I've used on my Digibeta. But it's only transmitting SD to my monitor, so to use it on the RED I need to down convert the signal.

Any thoughts?

An AJA or Pyro|Av box is the most likely route to success in my opinion.

The particular model depends on what type of SD signal you want. SDI, Component, composite, I think they make something that will fit your needs.

Although I've never used one specifically, I believe they will likely require a battery tap for power.

That was just what I needed. As far as I understand at the moment the AJA HD10MD3 HD-SDI to SDI/Analog Downconverter wins. I can feed that with 12v, the Pyro/AV HD10DAC does the same job but only takes 5v.
